Garnier Aloe Refreshing Facial Cleanser

Sunday, October 22, 2017

I have really dry and dehydrated skin, and it has the tendency to get flaky in certain areas of my face. It’s a struggle to find skincare that is very moisturizing, and that also doesn’t fade freckles. I have been using this product a little over a week as part of both my morning and evening routine. I haven’t been exfoliating, and in that week this is the only product I used to wash my face.

I love the packaging of the product, it makes me excited to use it every day. The bottle looks refreshing and I like that it is transparent. I also love that it is vegan. I’m not vegan, but I try to make better decisions on what I am putting on my skin. It is advertised as 99% natural-based and there is an explanation on the bottle of where each of the ingredients are derived from. It is free of paragons, dyes, silicones and sulfates!

The Garnier Aloe Refreshing Facial Cleanser is very light and has a subtle fresh scent. It has a gel-alike consistency, that is thinner than most, so you have to be careful when pumping out the product. After adding a little bit of water to your face, apply the facial wash, and then massage to cleanse your face. My face felt clean and soft after using, and it removed most of my makeup. It left behind a bit of mascara, but I usually double cleanse so this isn’t an issue for me on a daily basis. Since my skin is so dry, it did make my skin feel a little tight if I waited too long to put on my moisturizer. However, most cleansers are like this for me and I usually just make sure I put on my moisturizer right away!

Overall, I really did enjoy the cleanser and I will continue to use it in the future!

Have you tried the Garner Aloe Refreshing Facial Cleanser, or any other products from the range?
