Pass The Remote series is something I do about three times a year: Fall, Mid-season, and Summer. I love books, but they aren’t the only thing I love. I love checking out the new shows that are airing, seeing if there is anything good that I can add to my long list of TV series'. I am a little picky, so I don't watch every pilot, just the ones that I think I'll be interested in. I think when my list of current shows is up you’ll be able to see just how much I love TV too!

WHAT IT’S ABOUT — Fuller House is a sequel to the 1987-1995 series Full House. It follows D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who lives with her sister Stephanie and single mom Kimmy Gibbler.
WHAT I THINK — This is a pretty good attempt at a sequel of a classic TV series. I finished the entire series in a matter of days. It’s so fun to see the characters I grew up watching, as adults. I liked seeing how there lives ended up!

VERDICT’S STILL OUT…
WHAT IT’S ABOUT — Based on the The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, Shadowhunters follows a Clary Fray. On her eighteenth birthday, she learns she is a shadow hunter, a human born with angelic blood who protects humans from demons. After her mother is kidnapped, Clary must venture into the dark world of demon hunting.
WHAT I THINK — This one is hard. I am such a huge fan of the book series, which I think is why I am going to give it a chance. Shadow hunters is full of cheesy dialogue and weird pacing. I was actually okay with the casting of the character, except for Clary. Can we get Lily Collins back please?
WHEN IT’S ON — Tuesdays on ABC Family (Freeform)
WHAT IT’S ABOUT — The Shannara Chronicles follows Wil, Amberle, and Eretria on their quest to protect the Ellcrys from dying and releasing all of the banished demons back to the Four Lands.
WHAT I THINK — I really don’t know about this show. I know it’s based on a book series, but I could never figure out which book was first so I never read them. I went into this show not knowing much about it, and I still don’t know whats going on. We’ll see.

WHAT IT’S ABOUT — Quentin Goldwater is recruited to a secretive academy, Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, to be trained as a magician. He soon discovers that the magical world from his childhood is real and more dangerous than he ever imagined.
WHAT I THINK — I feel like this is one of those shows that takes a while to get into. I wanted to read the books before I watched the show. I thought that maybe watching the pilot would get me interested in the series enough to read the books. This show has potential.
