It has been six months since my last blog post.
In the last six months there has been a lot going on in my life. We moved from a tiny apartment into a townhouse, which is a lot more space than I'm used to. My husband got a new job, a great job. However, he works about 14 hours a day now. When he is home, I want to spend as much time with him as possible. At the same time, the more I got settled into our new place the less I had to do. Some days it feels like I am just waiting around for him to get home. I don't want to feel like I'm not doing, so I thought it might be a good time to get back into blogging.
I've felt a little unmotivated for the past few months, which is obvious by my lack of online activity. I haven't posted a blog post since January. I haven't been on Twitter since February.
I think it might have to do with the fact that I am feeling a little overwhelmed. I have two blogs, one for lifestyle and beauty, one for all things books. I have two twitter accounts, one for the book blog, one personal. Two instagrams, one for the book blog, one personal. There were also a few months in there where I was working on some items for an Etsy shop that I was considering opening, and still am considering (I never knew how much work went into running a shop!).
I really want to make everything a bit more streamlined, and focus on the things that I want to post, instead of making sure I had something for every Monday/Wednesday/Friday (book blog), plus other blog stuff. I think knowing there was less places for me to have keep updated, it might help me become more motivated. While I get back into the swing of things, it may be awhile before I have a set schedule. It will also take me some time to get everything all in one place, so bare with me!
See you soon!
